Amazing! We picked our 18 month old dog up after she completed the 21 day training program and we couldn't be more pleased!!! She used to be a nightmare on the leash (pulling, jumping and sniffing). We just got back from her first walk and the difference was startling!-she did not pull or sniff once!! Chris is a miracle worker!! I would give Asheville Dog Academy 5+ stars!!!

Chris and his team are amazing! We adopted our dog in April and sat down with Chris for a consolation. He was able to meet answer all of our questions, explain his methods and set out minds at ease that we too could have a well trained pup. We opted for the 21 day board and boy was it worth the wait! We were updated daily with photos, videos and words of encouragement. It was so nice to see our dogs progress while he was away. In the weeks following his training, Chis has been not only checking in with us but he has been available when we’ve had questions. If I could give six stars I would and I would recommend Chris and his team to any dog owner.

Chris is amazing!!! Our sweet Chance has always been a good boy but is very strong and walking could be difficult. After Asheville Dog Academy, he is a dream to take out on the town. We have a 1 year old , very active husky As you can imagine she was a handful! while very smart, she had a mind of her own and with a new born baby at home we were getting over our heads trying to take her out for walks while also pushing a stroller or carrying the baby. Every time we passed by another dog she would get so excited and pull. She will pull most of the time, which made walks very tiresome and draining for us, to the point where we didn't want to take her for walks! Which as you can imagine made things worse. We are soooo happy with the results. She is a totally different dog now. So much more calm. Always listens to her commands. She comes when called. Doesn’t pull on a leash. Doesn't go after other dogs or squirrels or birds. At home she is very calm And we can trust she will stay in place when instructed. We are even able to let her have supervised off leash play time and know she will come When called. We are so happy and confident in her training that we are comfortable taking her out in public to restaurants, parks, hiking and anywhere really. We highly recommend Asheville Dog academy!

I can’t say enough good things, just go see Chris and hire him to train your dogs. The board and train may seem expensive at first glance, but it’s worth every penny!!!! Your dog will obey you better which will make you happy and you will reward them more and enjoy interacting with them in a whole new way which will make your dog happy. From the first time we met, it was clear that Chris cares greatly for the dogs he works with. After we picked her up, he took plenty of time to sit down with us and “train” us on everything that he had worked with Bella on. And if that wasn’t enough, he also scheduled follow up appointments for us to come back and practice things some more with Bella and him. Chris takes pride in his work, and stands behind what he promises. He is straight forward and will tell you what things the dog needs to work on and what things us parents need to work on. He’s not going to sugar coat it, he’s going to tell you what is best for you and your dog. If we rescue any other puppies in the future, Chris will be our first call!

I took my fun loving, one year, 3 month old puppy Gracie to see Chris and his team for the 21 Day Board and Train Program, and I am OVER THE MOON happy with the results! She had the normal puppy behaviors including zooming across all furniture, jumping up on people she greeted in and out of the home, and pulling constantly on the leash. Chris and his team helped make outings and even home life more enjoyable with this training. It was a night and day difference, and all my friends and family can attest to this!! You can truly see how much the team at Asheville Dog Academy cares for dogs and their ability to enjoy life to the fullest through this training. It relieves stress and uncertainty for both owner and dog. Chris has been there to answer all of my questions before, during, and after the process and provides 100% customer satisfaction. This process includes training the owners as well, and they have made me more comfortable in my abilities with our follow up sessions. I would recommend Asheville Dog Academy to anyone and everyone and honestly cannot say enough about how grateful I am to them!!
